Meet our Staff

Tamara Gallaher

Teacher

My first year teaching at KACC ECDC was the first year the school was open in 1976. After being gone for several years (ministry moves to Washington and Alaska), I returned to the preschool in 1988. I have taught three and four year olds. My husband heads up the Men’s Ministry here at KACC. We have two married daughters and are grandparents to twin boys.

Lynelle Glonchak

I began substitute teaching at KACC ECDC in 2006, while my two boys attended the school.  My first full year of teaching was in 2009.  Along with my boys, I have a fantastic husband.  It is my prayer that my students enjoy their preschool experience as much as I love teaching them!

Debby Lewicki

I began teaching at KACC ECDC in 1999 when my son entered preschool and daughter entered kindergarten. My husband, Roger, asks each night what new "little angels" story I have for the day. I love being the first teacher for the 2 ½ - 3 year olds!

Sherry Miller

I began teaching at KACC ECDC in 1993. My husband and I have two daughters that attended the school before I began teaching. I teach the older 4's and those that have been given a "bonus" year to grow and mature. I love being able to work with the children before they journey on to kindergarten.

Cheryl Nance

Librarian

I am the librarian, computer teacher and resident substitute teacher. I have been at KACC ECDC since 1999. I have a wonderful husband and three children. Both of our daughters attended here. Our son is married to a wonderful woman and they have blessed us with our first grandchild. Your children are such a blessing in my life.

Betsy Slauson

Center Director

I have been the director at KACC ECDC for 20 years. Prior to taking the director position, I taught three year olds for 14 years. I have also been an active member of Knott Avenue Christian Church for 39 years. I have been married for 42 years to Don (who is the Facilities Manager at KACC). We have 4 children and 4 grandchildren. It is a joy to serve here and watch the children grow. Yes, I have had some former students bring their children to our school.

Kathy Zemke
